Magnet Finder

Project Summary
We built a robot to detect a magnet hidden under one of three walnut shells.
Project Description
This is a small robot with a Vernier Magnetic Field Sensor mounted on it. The sensor is connected to the NXT using our NXT Sensor Adapter.
The robot travels in a straight line for a certain distance, reading the magnetic field as it moves. A peak reading occurs when the robot passes the magnet. The robot keeps track of the location of this peak reading and moves back to this location after it is done moving forward.
