We built a pneumatic pump and switch.
Project Description
This project uses the Vernier NXT Adapter, Vernier Gas Pressure Sensor, the LEGO Pneumatic Hand Pump, and Pneumatic Switch to build an air compressor.
The pump runs until the pressure in the storage tank (Erlenmeyer flask) reaches a preset value. After a few seconds the program uses a second motor to operate the switch to release the stored air, which bubbles through the water and the cycle starts over.
